Now there are instances where a sitemap really is not needed, but to be honest, it never really hurts to have it implemented and ready to go. If a company understands what pages are their top services, performers and what ones they want in the future to be the top pages, this helps everyone involved to figure out how to do this. Why else do you need a sitemap?
